How to set up multiple destinations for your dedicated server servers

 WHM allows you to create additional destinations for backup files so that you can recover them when problems occur. Through this article, you can learn how to use remote sites to store backups for your server.

How to configure remote destinations to store your backup storage:

When you start creating additional destinations, you must first consider that server resources will be required to create and move the backup, as well as monitor your server load during scheduled backup times to identify any impact on your server performance, if the backup affects On your server tool, you will need to review the configuration / backup schedule or the website files involved in the backup process.

Steps to configure remote destinations:

Step 1: Log in to your WHM account
Backup Configuration in WHM menu

Step 2: From the WHM menu, select Backup

Step 3: Click on the icon and click Backup Configurations
Enable Backup configuration if necessary

Step 4: Enable the backup configuration, the global settings are automatically disabled to configure the backup. You can enable it by clicking Enable to configure the backup.
Scroll to Additional Destinations

Step 5: Move to additional destinations
Select your destination type

Below you can see all additional destinations.

Step 6: Choose your destination type using the following types.

 Amazon S3, FTP, Local Local, SFTP, WebDav, and Custom.
Destination form

Step 7: Click the Create New Destination icon.

Step 8: Next, you will need to complete the destination form by filling out the required information to reach the remote destination. This form will change based on the type of destination you specify.
Save and validate destination

Step 9: Click the Save icon and check the interface
