How to Run ClamAV Virus Check from cPanel
In the previous article we have mentioned how to install ClamAV inside cpanel and now the role of how to run it is now, you can now learn how to run ClamAV by following the steps below.
Steps to Run ClamAV in Cpanel:
Step 1: Log in to your cpanel account.
Step 2: Go to the Advanced section and choose Virus Scanner.
Step 3: You can now start selecting the scan type and then press the scan now.
Step 4: After the completion of the examination will be a list of all infected files through which to identify the infected files and then click the OK icon.
Step 5: We then remove the infected files from your / public_html directory and leave them in the Quarantine column. You can also burn and destroy those files permanently.
Step 6: Click on the cleaning process icon
Now another page will appear showing the completion of the cleaning process.
You can now go to the quarantine_clamavconnector directory to identify the files that have been isolated
You should now see the Cleanup Complete page.
